The Dance of Love

Love has its own novel ways of expressing itself. Be it through the historic flowers, the passionate and dewy chocolates, cutie teddies or the ever-sparkling jewelleries, love has always managed to confess itself through these congenial forms. But. But… since it’s a dance fanatic who’s writing this, I would, in utmost respect, wouldn’t forget a form of love, that is so uniquely heavenly, so uniting and hey, it actually gives a whole new meaning to that often misunderstood 4-letter word…

Dance….

The art of physically proposing the mind’s feelings, I would call it. The words that don’t flow from the lips here, but from the rhythm of the body. The impeccable movements which not only bring together two lovers, but also…two souls, to display, describe and to caress the matters of the unseen bond of love…

Dance has its varied forms like hip-hop, the body twisting freestyle, the hip-swinging Lambarda or the chivalrous Ballroom dance, but the dance that speaks the language of love right from the first move...lies away from them all…

Dancing its way to glory…here comes...THE DANCE OF PASSION & SEDUCTION –

                                                            RUMBA…

Brought to the nation of Cuba through the African slaves imported from Spain, the Rumba is a romantic and flirtatious dance, in which the Ladiezzzz have an upper hand. The music flows by following the “Slow-Quick-Quick” rhythm and therefore engulfs the more itemized hip movements (from Cuba) with a fluid arm styling.

Unlike other western dances, this sensual Latin Dance is usually a spot dance, in which the dancers do not move around the floor or the room.

According to folklore, the Dance revolves around the man trying to woo the Lady and the Lady trying to resist his stylized moves…Hmmm!! Quite a profound and profusely well-made dance….

The Cuban’s original Rumba folk dance is a spectacular “Pas-de-deux”, utilizing the art of sexuality in its fold and is danced extremely fast using the hips.

The Dance of Rumba today, cannot be named as the native dance as the Ballrooms of the world, actually move to the rhythm of the “SON” (slower) or “DANZON” (even slower), which are a much slower and polite version of the frantic, roller coaster like Rumba.

So, Ladies…Pull up your romantic indexes, keep your bow and arrows ready and put on your dancing shoes to titillate your partners in this “DANCE OF LOVE”!!
